2 June 2004.. Vesak Day... i will never forget this historical day.. becos this IS the day that i kept a CLEAN SHEET in an unforgettable match today at Ngee Ann poly soccer field.. for the 1st time!!!!! :p today was also the day that i wore my new soccer gloves in more than half a year for the 1st time.. yes, i bought them last year.. but oni wore them for today's match... (yes, i am the team's goalkeeper.. the one in the least coveted position.. :P)
But wat makes this match more significant was that we have not played field soccer for almost a year.. and my team played realli seriously and i think today was the best match we ever played so far.. and we won 6-0 ! The defence was good.. midfield was good.. attack was good... and that was why i dint have much to do anyway... phew
And i wont forget the most funny incident that happened.. was that my friend was shielding the ball from an opponent.. and his hand actualli moved from pushing away his chest.. all the way to rubbing his "soft" groin!! haha...... eeeeeeee!!!! so funny, esp when he described it to us..
But we wont be able to do it without the new "signings" we had today.. we were good today.. but they made us look good.. man, must try to pyscho them to sign permanently for us... hmmm......
Lastly, i dedicate this win and clean sheet to that special someone.. cos i told my buddies that i MUST get this clean sheet for her! and lucky my friends made it easy for me...... :)
