I have seen and read about the atrocities that are committed by the bloody terrorists..... and like all the rest of the sensible people here, i too despise and condemn the acts of the terrorists in Iraq... but it does not change the fact that i still respect and admire Islam..... why ? Reasons are simple:

1. I knw many muslims personally, and trust me, they are the most honest, decent and peace-loving people around, same as the rest of us here

2. Like what many muslims had tried to explain so tirelessly before, Islam DO CONDEMN acts of terrorism.... maybe for people who think otherwise, read up the Quran first..

3. Some of you keep saying that Muslims need to be more vocal in opposing the terror acts... well, they do voice out, just maybe you did not happen to know. They just do not publish their thoughts in the media..

4. The terrorists keep saying that they are carrying out God's orders.. but it's so obvious that they are using their religion as excuses to carry out the terror acts.. They are trying to mislead other naive muslims and the rest of the World to think that muslims are violent.. which is NOT TRUE at all..

Food for Thought : If one day, a group of people happen to go around killing the innocent, and they happened to be christians, and claimed that they are carrying out God's will.. should we believe them & thus condemn Christianity ?? obviously no right ?

Anyway, i am a free-thinker, and i truly believe that all religions support peace, not violence..... and lastly, hope that we should all learn to understand and empathise with one another.. only then, can peace really prevail....... just too bad that Islam is badly misunderstood right now..
