Last night i was watching Singapore Idol.. and i must agree that there are many jokers.. ( even a stripper and a wat ?!?! banana man !!!!!! ) but again.... must applaud the pple who dare to follow their dreams... isn't this wat pple shld live for ?

anyway.... surely u must have noted that Singaporeans are almost completely courteous and humble ? i mean...... compare them to the contestants @ American Idols wannabes .. and u shld knw wat i mean ..... oh common, ok... so there are pple who can't sing..... but their courage and guts impress me......

but the judges ?? one word....... poor.......

i noticed that these judges are almost trying too hard to imitate the great Simon Cowell... by giving sacastic criticisms, and scolding pple for lack of attitudes... and that they say "This is SERIOUS Business" but at least Mr Simon is direct, straight to the point, professional and takes back his word when he knows he is wrong...... but u pple ??

1. Out of every 10 criticisms... oni 1 or 2 are constructive ones.....
2. Scold pple for lack of attitudes..... and the judges can fall asleep ?!?!
3. Fed up becos so many pple say they are nervous..... oh cmon! dun tell me u weren't nervous when u guys first started out in the entertainment business ?!?!?!
4. When pple ask u to comment on their singing..... u guys laugh and snicker at the poor fellow...
5. Insult pple's appearance and say they dun have what it takes to make it big.. HELLO!! look @ Clay Aiken when he first appeared.. he looked like a nerd..... but look at him now.. ever heard of a thing called "MAKE-OVER" ????
6. Scold pple more when their job is to Evaluate and give Constructive Comments
7. Dear Mr Ken Lim... pls think of something new..... isn't it v tiring when u oni kept saying " Sing with ur own style " again and again... and nothing else ?!?! aren't u supposed to judge on their vocals instead ?
8.Dear Sir with the "Dick" name..... it is true that this is serious business..... but being a judge is also serious busines... why dun u turn ur head and see why Mr Douglas Oliveira is closing his eyes and sleeping ?? Is that gd attitude ??
9. Lastly, this is called "Singapore Idol" , and this is not a "Judge's Idol" competition.. so pls.. judge like a proper one... and stop imitating pple..... cos u suck @ it......
10. okok... so there are times when u guys talk sense... and sometimes give encouragements to the contestants.. so this 10th point is a compliment............ but den again..... u guys are paid to do the job........ weren't u ?

Aspiring singers enter that room and they aim to impress... tried they did..... but the judges ?? they sure dont impress ....... but Gurmit Singh as host ?? OH YES man!!!!! he is so much better .. even better than Ryan Seacrest.... and he is such a motivator........

Dun get me wrong... Simon Cowell is my fav judge... and that this serious business..... but a judge must be objective & give constructive criticisms..... and must be direct abt it....... judge pple based on their singing..... nothing else...... this is a singing competition, isn't it ?

Btw, who the hell is Ken Lim ?!?! his face sure looks like my ass..... and he sure toks like one!!!er....... oops ?
