IT'S OFFICIAL.......This is officially and confirmed the worst week of my entire life so far.... nothing seems to be going rite for me... made one mistake @ work today.. and i think i am blacklisted in LTA.... oh gosh..... if u think i am thinking too much, den take a look at this email sent by LTA........... can u imagine this email is forwarded to how many pple ?!?!!? It was also forwarded to all the Big-Shots in Singtel.... and this will be used as a case study for further use..... oh my god...... i can't believe this is happening to me....... (P.S. also read the last part of this email.... haiz.... realli de-moralising now...)

Team Leaders,
The following are some pointers that we can learn from this case. Would
appreciate if you could share/highlight to Derek as well as the rest of the
call agents:-
1) Since road tax had already expired on 16 July 2004, Derek should not
submit Mr Chua's request for a duplicate notice to be sent to him via the
1M portal. If caller insists, call agents should route such request to ext
5770 or Hotline_VTL_Gen_Enq@lta.gov.sg to follow up. P/s refer to online
FAQ VRM-VRL-RT-04 for details.
2) Highlight to caller that it is an offence to use/or permitting others to
use a vehicle without a valid road tax. Refer to online FAQ VRM-VRL-RT-20
for details. In this case, Mr Chua & the driver were fined $50 each for
using and permitting vehicle to be used without a valid road tax. Fyi, Mr
Chua is contesting that if we have sent the notice to him as promised by
Derek, he would not be in this situation.
3) For expired road tax, call agents should advise callers to renew their
road tax & pay the late payment fee at VTL or at any collection centres
(provided they have the renewal notice) IMMEDIATELY. Based on the
conversation, Derek repeatedly informed Mr Chua to renew his road tax
before 15 August. This may give the caller the wrong impression that he
does not need to pay the late payment fee if he renewed his road tax before
15 August.

Based on our observation, this is not the first time that Derek gave wrong
information to the caller. If I recall correctly, he was one of the call
agent that provided the wrong transfer fee (a difference of $3,000 plus) to
another caller - Mr Ong. Hence, would appreciate if the team leaders could
monitor his performance/ product knowledge.
