Venue : National Stadium
Date / Time : 17.1.05 / 4.30pm
Match : Singapore vs Indonesia (Tiger 2nd leg, which Spore was leading 3-1)

Today i was @ the National Stadium with the gang........ when suddenly we were interviewed by 2 guys from Channel NewsAsia....... first he interviewed my friend KS, followed by a short interview on CK......... den he turned.. looked @ me... and interviewed me!!!!!!!!!!

The guy asked me alot of questions, which i think i answered in a v professional manner.. and also my interview took the longest time!!! (at least 2 min!!) We were thinking..... omg, CK and me confirm will be on National Television......... later we found out........

ONLY CK & KS were shown on Channel 8 news ?!?!! NOT ME ?!?! WTF!!!!

WHY WASN'T I ON NATIONAL TV ?!?!?!

WHY ?? WHY ?? WHY ?? WHY ?? WHY ?? WHY ?? WHY ?? WHY ?? WHY ??

Damn....... must be either i am too naggy or its becos of my bad hair day again........ haiz ....... realli wah lau eh.............

The ONLY thing that was captured on TV... was when i was shouting in the background : "Singapore Bagus!!!!" Wat a joke!! :P

Anyway, in the end, Singapore won the match 2-1, which means Singapore won the Tiger Cup based on the aggregate score of 5-2....... and finally, the National Stadium was full house....... which means we all got to enjoy the atmosphere that was sadly missed since the Malaysian Cup days........ and mind u, we actualli did alot of preparations..........

1. 3 cartons of packet drinks
2. around 20 packets of Super Rings
3. lots of other snacks, tidbits & sweets
4. plus of cos balloons, newspapers ( for tearing into bits and throwing into the air)
5. and finally our dress code.. which was of cos all-red.......

Hmmm.... this must be one of those realli enjoyable days... damn, it could have been perfect, if only i was captured on TV!!! hahaha.........

Here is it.......... the photo of the 1st gal that caught my eye......... Posted by Hello

Thursday, January 13, 2005

Last night i was chatting with Dan & KS on msn... and we talk about alot of things, including our usual crap... den it was back to our usual topic : Love (yeah, men nowadays do talk about love u know.. )

Anyway, sometimes we were wondering........ why love always seem to evade us... and whenever we were out on the streets, we would always see one couple after another... but when we looked around us, we realised it was always just the same bunch of us guys..... and it suddenly seemed to me, that we just weren't socialising enough.......

For KS, he is considered the braver of us, as he would always go on a "mission" to know more girls.. haha, ks, remember Elsie or the gal u knew @ Queensway S.C ? anyway, most of the time, he would succeed in getting their numbers.. and would go on a few dates with them..... but in the end..... it's always the same result....... which is nothing happened after all..... haiz... cmon, man... dun give up half-way all the time!!! or is Zhirong still in ur mind ?? hmm..

For Daniel..... he is considered the most suay guy of us all...... as he does know alot of gals, and would be able to click with practically all of them..... but there is one big problem.... ALL the gals are attached..... we have tried so many times, to ask him to open his eyes and try to socialise more..... or at least know more SINGLE GALS!! but he would either say he has no time, or he is simply content with whatever he has right now...... hmm... or maybe Cass is still in ur mind??? hmm...

Anyway, as for me....... i don't know realli...... cos honestly, i have my share of female friends..... but i guess...... it's either :
1. we are more like buddies
2. the gal doesn't like me
3. i don't like the gal
4 the gal i liked is attached
5. or to put it simply...... no fate...

Like i mentioned b4 in my previous posts...... i do feel attracted to a gal quite easily (haha, esp if she is one hell of a looker!) ... but either the attraction ends quite easily..... or i just give up half-way..... i mean, there was one gal i liked sometime last year... we had a few dates.... and there was an excellent opportunity to let her know how i feel....... but in the end.. my balls shrank, and my mouth just kept shut.... i guess i was afraid of rejection..... i mean, she has mentioned b4 that she wanted to remain single.... but yet sometimes she would give me an idea that i might stand a chance...... besides i was afraid that if i fail, we may not remain as close as what we had become in the last few months...... but anyway, since that fateful date...... we started to drift apart......

But i know that throughout my whole life, there will always be one gal that will forever remain in my mind... she was the first gal that i fell in love with, the gal who sat beside me at the school porch, copying my homework, and the gal who was in the same class as me for 2 years.. i know she won't remember me, cos the last time i saw her was 10 years ago..... but i realli hope that one fine day, i can find her... cos i realli realli just want to know that she is happy, healthy and maybe... even happily married.....

Even now, i still have her photo that was taken 13 years ago....

She was my classmate from Henry Park Pri... and her name.... is Huang Wanyi... hmm, find one of these days, i shld post her photo... maybe i could be lucky.. who knows ?

There will be chances of getting a raise and promotion. Health luck will not be up to expectations. As for your love life, you will need to work hard for a better outcome.

Wealth
With good wealth luck, there will be lots of opportunities around. You should handle your money properly and not spend on unnecessary items.

Career
Your career luck will be good, smooth sailing. Persons of Nobility will appear and guide you along the way. For those at work, you will prove to be of great help to the company. Always build a good relationship with one another.

Health
The only bad news for this year is your health luck. You will need to take very good care of yourself. You will also get hurt easily, therefore be alert. Due to stress from your work, you must find yourself some time to rest. You must also stay away from alcohol and cigarettes.

Love
You should show more concern to your partner especially you, married woman. You should avoid getting involved with third parties. Singles will be able to meet their dream dates during business functions.

Leo in 2005 - Abundance

Pursuing a successful career, along with the usual social and financial advantages, will be easier this year than it has in a long time for you, Leo! The most difficult thing might be deciding which path means the most to you, and where to put your focus. You'll be able to create opportunities for advancement almost out of thin air. Romance in 2005 will make it a year to remember - and you'll be the envy of all your friends. Love comes willingly and easily. Money may suddenly become tight at a very inconvenient time. Yet, this is no comparison to the advancements you'll make overall, and by the end of 2005, you'll look back in sheer wonder and happiness.

Hmm.... looks like this year is quite a good year for me... in short :
1. I will have a good career
2. love maybe in the air
3. Will have to learn to be stingy
4. Get more MCs as long as i don't feel like working
5. And i will meet my lucky star this year!!!!

hohohoh........ *crossing fingers*

I don't know your face no more
Or feel your touch that I adore
I don't know your face no more
It's just a place I'm looking for

We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a different world

We might as well
We might as well
We might as well

I don't know your thoughts these days
We're strangers in an empty space
I don't understand your heart
It's easier to be apart

We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a another time

We might as well
We might as well

We might as well be strangers
Be strangers

For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now

For all I know...

This is a song by Keane .. called " We might as well be strangers"

I guess this song realli suits one of my very gd friend... who just broke up with his gf today... he was a nice guy, and she was a very sweet gal..... but in the end, they broke up becos of one word...

Incompatibility..........

It was sad, a big shock... but i guess more of a relief for my friend... but no worries, my pal..... the rest of the gang and i will be here for u, pray for u.......... cos

for all i know..........

u will find someone better.. and she will find someone better..........

IS THIS FOR REAL ?!?!?!?!?

i just received an email from Nicole, regarding this MAN who was actually PREGNANT ?!?!? wait a minute, it can't be true.... cos the first thing i was thinking was..... how ???? how was he pregnant, and how would the baby be conceived ?!?!?! oh well.............

http://www.malepregnancy.com/

Anyway, the pregnant man was some artist called Mr Lee Mingwei, who has had solo exhibitions at The Whitney Museum of American Art and The Cleveland Museum of Art, and he explores the evanescent and diurnal cycles of living. His work is based on such basic human activities as cooking, letterwriting, and now child-bearing.

Some of the faqs answered :

http://www.malepregnancy.com/faqs/

Anyway i am still skeptical about this.......... and somehow i still think it is sick and appalling.. at least i feel it is against Mother Nature... first the cloning thing came up... then now this... wat next ? That women would be able to produce sperms and deposit into men's body, making them pregnant ?!?! and men would have periods and cramps like women ?!?!?!?

OH MY GOD!!! SHIT!!!

Morale of the Story : Men, never ever pressure your wives and spouses into bearing a baby for you.. cos it may jolly well turn into YOU being the child-bearer!!!

I LOVE NIGHT CYCLING!!!!

haha, a couple of days ago, Ah Niu & Pai Gu acc me to Carrefour, to buy my very first bicycle in 24 years.. ( i know i know, very sua ku rite ? ).. and last nite was my virgin night cycling with Ah Niu...
We cycled all the way to eat the famous Nasi Lemak near to Lakeside MRT.. and after that, we cycled all around our area to recce.. and managed to find a new shopping centre called Pioneer Mall!! haha, although it took us a very... very long time to find it...

Wah lau eh, Ah Niu, u better wear ur specs the next time we night cycle lah!! u almost got us lost in Jurong man!! anyway, it was an enjoyable experience, and we decided that our next destination will be to eat Bak Cho Mee @ Taman Jurong... then maybe go " Lia Gao" at Jurong Hill... hehe, oh man, this is exciting! :P

Morale of the Story : with a bicycle on hand, there is no place that is considered too far for me!! so wat if u live in Jurong West!

The day / time : 2 Jan 2005 / 1930hrs
Venue : National Stadium
Attendance : over 30,000 according to Newpaper ( although i seriously think it is slightly over 10,000 only..)
First Leg score : 4-3 in favour of Singapore

This was the venue where Singapore was playing Myanmar in the 2nd leg of the Tiger Cup semi-final... and my buddies and i were there to support the lions.... initially the odds were against us right from the start.. as the Myanmar supporters were out in force, shouting, singing & dancing throughout much of the match.. they were even 2-0 up at one stage.... whereas the Singapore supporters were not as vocal ( u should have seen the way we sing the National Anthem.. cos we were NOT singing at all!!!!)...

Anyway, in the end, Singapore won 4-2 ( 8-5 on aggregate) against a 8-man Myanmar team... and overall it was a fantastic match, not because of the sloppy play or the wet pitch.. but more on the atmosphere... i mean, for a mere $10, u can :

1. Scold and sprout vulgarities at the top of your voice.. and no one will give a damn about it
2. Take off your shirt and wave it all about whenever a goal is scored.. and still no one will give a damn about it
3. See 3 red cards, lots of drama & play-acting (one Myanamar player should get an Oscar for the way he collapsed, after he was given just a pat on the back by one Singapore player)
4. Sense alot of tension between fans from both sides.. and unfortunately there was a fight and even throwing of dustbins all around...
5. See lots of goals, a missed penalty and throwing of water bottles from the Myanmar bench
6. See extra 30 min of football, cos the score was level in normal time
7. See 2 Myanmar players doing a vulgar gesture at us, after they were sent off by the referee.. of cos, we kept booing them all the way
8. Keep shouting " Referee Kayu", whenever the referee makes a decision against Singapore.. lucky he is a Jap though.. so he can't understand what we are scolding..
9. Lead the crowd in cheering on the team.. haha, first we started cheering for Indra, when he was about to come on as a substitute .. later the whole crowd joined in!!! omg.. damn shiok man!!!!!!
10. but most importantly, we get to see Singapore win, and thus go on into the Tiger Cup final... yeah man!!!!!!

Hmm... i will be at the National Stadium on the 16 Jan, to cheer on the Lions and soak in the atmosphere.... what about u ???

Morale of the Story : If u wanna shout, scold, stare or even be half-naked without grabbing attention..u can only do it at the National Stadium !!

Hmm... New Year eve's celebration must be one of the best ever!!! haha, i was working till 12am on 31.12.04, and initially i though i would be counting down on my own in the office... but guess what ? I managed to smuggle my friends into the office to not only accompany me, but also celebrate the New Year, while sitting comfortably in the pantry on the 27th floor... looking down at Boat Quay and the rest of the Padang etc...

Later we went to watch the 2am show, "Meet the Fockers" @ Suntec..... and omg, it was simply hilarious.. and i loved the baby nephew.. haha, he is so bloody cute... although a little too pervert i think!!
Anyway, dun miss this show, cos it is simply a fantastic show... much better than Kung Fu hustle....
To wrap things up, we ended the night (or morning) by talking crap at the Kopitiam.. till the first trains were in service..... gosh, i can't dawn again... cos it was fun but simply too tiring.. looks like i am getting old... shit, 5 more years and i will be 30 !!!!!!!
